Some wedding days simply feel easy from beginning to end, and Charlotte and Ben's wedding at Mitton Hall was exactly that.

Set amongst the beautiful Lancashire countryside, Mitton Hall provided the perfect backdrop for a day that felt relaxed, joyful, and full of genuine connection. There was such a lovely balance throughout the day between quieter moments spent together and the energy that naturally comes when you're surrounded by all of your favorite people.

One of the things I loved most about this wedding was how effortlessly everyone settled into the celebrations. Guests were enjoying the gardens, conversations were flowing, and there was never a sense of anyone feeling rushed from one part of the day to the next.

As a documentary wedding photographer, these are the moments I naturally gravitate towards. The laughter between friends, guests catching up with one another, and all of those little interactions that often become some of the most memorable parts of the day.

Mitton Hall itself is such a wonderful venue to photograph. Between the historic architecture, countryside surroundings, and beautiful grounds, there are endless opportunities for portraits without ever needing to leave the venue.

As the evening celebrations began, the energy completely shifted. The dance floor quickly filled up, and the atmosphere only grew from there.

A special mention has to go to Wayne, the wedding singer and host, who truly kept the celebrations going all evening. His energy was infectious, and it's safe to say he played a huge part in creating such a fun atmosphere for everyone there.

Charlotte and Ben's day was the perfect reminder that weddings don't need to feel complicated to be unforgettable. Sometimes all you need is a beautiful venue, your favorite people, and plenty of opportunities to simply enjoy being together.
