Hi, I’m Katie

 Where to even begin? I’m an American-Peruvian photographer with an Irish husband, a Peruvian dog, and a knack for collecting memories (and passport stamps). My husband and I met in Australia, somehow ended up in Manchester, and honestly, life has always been one big adventure.

 

I grew up between the U.S and Peru, which probably explains my obsession with travel, meeting people from different backgrounds, and saying yes to adventures before I’ve figured out all the details.

Photography has been part of my life for as long as I can remember. My dad was always documenting our lives with his film camera, and years later those photographs became some of my most treasured possessions. They bring back moments I would’ve otherwise forgotten.

That’s why photography matters so much to me.

Not because life needs to look perfect, but because it deserves to be remembered.

​

When it comes to your wedding day, my goal is simple: help you feel completely at ease, capture what matters most, and create photographs that become more valuable with every passing year.

A Few Things You Should Know About Me:​​

• I’ve visited 45 countries so far and fully intend to spend my life chasing the rest.

• Most weekends involve a road trip, a hike, a campsite, or some combination of all three with my husband Kevin and our dog Copper.

• I genuinely believe some of the best things in life happen when you say yes before you’ve figured everything out.

• I snowboard, scuba dive, boulder, hike, camp, and generally collect hobbies that aren’t particularly kind to my bank account.

• If there’s a sunrise worth seeing, I’ll happily set a ridiculous alarm for it.

• I will absolutely stop to pet your dog.

• I love hearing how people met, where they’ve been, and what led them to where they are today.

• Guinness is my drink of choice.

• I own far more outdoor gear than any reasonable person needs.

• If we’re golfing together, there’s a good chance I’ll be searching for lost golf balls in the bushes like it’s a treasure hunt.

While I’m currently based in Manchester, I photograph weddings and elopements across Europe and regularly work with couples planning from abroad. My approach is relaxed and genuine, so you can enjoy your day while I capture everything that matters.
